Public Relations Committee
The purpose of the Public Information Committee is to act as an ambassador to the University and community on behalf of ANS and nuclear energy and technology. We are accomplishing this by:
- Participating in E-Fair in an effort to reach out to a wide variety of individuals ranging from elementary students to adults
- Tabling at the Reitz Union Colonnade to inform students about nuclear energy and technology.
- Writing articles on activities and events that happen in ANS and the department and submitting them to various publications.
- Presenting to high school and elementary school students on nuclear energy and technology.
- Fundraising at local ice cream shops in an effort to raise funds as well as inform students and adults from the local community about nuclear science and technology
